Hi Rachel,
Every cat has a different personality. I have owned several Siamese in my life. One when I was a little girl and she loved me. The others while I have had children and they got along well with my children. If you are adopting an adult Siamese, the shelter or rescue center should know if the cat is good with kids. Take your children and interact with the cat a couple of times to make sure everyone gets along. If you are thinking of getting a kitten, they tend to adjust to whomever lives in your household.
