Signs of a Sick Cat
Changes in Eating or Drinking
A sick cat often has changes in its eating or drinking habits. A cat may refuse to eat anything or only eat very little. If this lasts for more than a day or two, the cat is most likely sick. On the other hand, a cat that has an increased appetite and eats excessively is also showing signs of a possible illness, such as diabetes. Excessive thirst is also an indication of sickness. A cat that does not drink any water is in danger of dehydration.
