Hi Jay,
You have to be extremely careful with any over the counter treatments and cats. So many things are very toxic to them. Continue to clean his eyes with a warm wash cloth. I would phone vets in the area and see if any are willing to work with you on treatment for him or perhaps work out a payment plan. Since all of the animals are developing this same issue, it is likely viral. I suspect he needs to be on antibiotics as well, but the vet will have to prescribe as they are based on the weight of the cat.

Please don't use anything over the counter on your cats. Many over the counter products for humans can be very toxic to felines.
I would first try using a warm wash cloth and gently cleaning her eyes. That may help. However, the kitten may have an upper respiratory infection, which can cause that type of symptom. You may want to consider taking at least the kitten to the vet. If she has Cat Flu, it could be highly contagious to the other cats and make them all ill. If she does have that, she likely contracted it from her mother. Good luck. I hope she gets better soon.
-- Contributed by: LoriSoardCan I use Neomycin and Polymyxin B Sulfates and Gramicidin Ophthalmic Solution USP on a cat? There are a bunch of barn cats that live near my home. One of them had kittens about a month and a half ago and one of the kittens' eyes are matted shut. She can't even see. I want to help but I'm in no position to take her to the vet.
