-- Contributed by: bunkinsgirl2004@yahoo.comHi Tam,
Remember that she'll have to live with whatever name you give her. As she grows up, her patches may look cuter too. Another thing you might want to consider is her personality, sometimes the best names come from characteristics. Does she eat a lot? Miss Piggy. Is she energetic and crazy at times? Spaz. There are some great ideas on this page too. Others may have addition suggestions.
-- Contributed by: LoriSoardreally struggling with a cat name for our calico kitten. shes a real mix up with a black patch over one side of her nose. shes no way a cutsie kitten, in fact shes kind of odd mousey looking with big ears!! anyone have any ideas??? thanks
-- Contributed by: tamHi Kristy,
Sorry to hear about Izzy and what happened to her. That is very tragic. Be sure to read our articles on bringing a new kitten home to help ease the transition of a new pet into the household for Onyx. I also like the name Chessie.
-- Contributed by: LoriSoardi got a new kitten because my perfect cat izzy we had a terrible accident in the dryer,i feel so guilty i have another cat who looked up to izzy for everything, she was my everything i don't have kids so i am grieving still, but neeed a new kitten right away for oxyx which is my black cat and he needs a companion as all he does is search an meow for izzy, he is as bad as me so i figured it was the right thing to do, however, will never forget my perfect izzabella.

-- Contributed by: kristy parkerHi Iko,
That is a cute name. You could even shorten it to Gi Gi at some point :)
-- Contributed by: LoriSoardHi, i named my cat girlgirl. Is it a good name?
-- Contributed by: ...iko:DHi Alyssa,
They sound very cute. It is amazing how we come up with our pets' names and how they typically fit so perfectly.
-- Contributed by: LoriSoardWe moved to the country about 1 yr ago. I promised the kids they could get kittens, so that we could keep the mice and other rodents under control. Long story short, each of their names turned out to be purrfect. The oldest named her black, yellow and white calico, Lilly Bell, after her favorite flower, the middle child named her coal black cat, Stormy Rain, because she was found in a rain storm, and my son named his long hair black cat, Smokey because he has a whitish biniki line. Now we have a fourth cat, a stray that has called us home - Bootsy has become his name. He is all black with white boots on all fours. Each of our cats amusingly has the personality to match the name, and each answers appropriately when their name is called. Now if I could just get the 2 dogs to answer to their names, we'd be all set.
-- Contributed by: AlyssaSierra, really cute names. Good choices.
-- Contributed by: LoriSoardAfter TONS of debate I finally named my two babies. They are both tabbies, one just has a white stomach and a few other parts. Her name is sky, and her sister is storm. (Thank God I didn't name them Star and Twilight)
-- Contributed by: SierraI got two black brother kittens 6 weeks ago, and they are the best lil' things EVER. But we decided to name them Odysseus and Telemachus from the book The Odyssey.
-- Contributed by: AllieLet's see. Think of something that goes with the silver. How about Flash, or maybe Bullet? If you prefer a more elegant name, what about Sterling?
-- Contributed by: Kellymy kitten has a black head and a silver back and is very cuddly but meows a lot got any names for me
-- Contributed by: susanPersonally, I've always prefered to give my pets people names. If you do a Google search for baby boy names I'll bet you come up with tons of great choices. You should also check out our article on Kitten Names. There are some good choices there too.
-- Contributed by: KellyI have 2 kittens. Their mother died and so i'm taking care of them. I don't really have good names for them, so I need someone's help!! The orange one meows a LOT and he like furry things. The striped one is more calm and he loves humans! Have any names for me? Please tell!
