Hi Jason,
Thanks so much for the tip from a Persian owner. The runny eyes tend to show up more on Persians too, because their fur is white and the eye gunk, for lack of a better word, can turn the fur a darker color. There are several alternative litters on the market, such as Yesterday's News.

Persians are a little shorter legged than some other cat breeds, so low to the ground would be the norm. Since the father of the litter remains unidentified its not unusual to see such variety in the litter.
Rather than quote a specific size for a one-month-old kitten, I think it's more relevant to consider the "condition" of each kitten. Are they beginning to flesh out nicely, or do they seem boney? As long as they seem well fed for their current framework they should be doing okay.
You'll probably notice that the kittens thin out a bit around five weeks old when they hit another growth spurt. Feed them well and their weight will catch up to their framework again. Just don't over feed them because excess weight isn't good for those soft joints and bones.
Good luck!
-- Contributed by: KellyI love cats and Persians and Hemi's are my fixation. I Voluntary take care of lost, unwanted, abandoned and stray pets. Nurse them back to health then put them up for adoption. I adopted for my own a beautiful flat face fur ball that I think is a Persian. Sheâs multi colored smoke-blue and lilac even colored with a lilac star down the trunk of her nose ending at the little black heart that is her nose. She has blue-green and gold eyes and a heart of gold. I never have seen a cat like of her kind. When I adopted her I did not know she was pregnant. She had six kittens: two flat face short hair tortshell, one flat face long hair golden with a fluffy undercoat (poor baby was born with Persian type front paws with small back paws with no nails), one flat face long hair chocolate with a fluffy undercoat and two big furball chocolates with blue-smoke bellies that look to be Persian. Is it possible for Persians to have mix litters like this half and half (if she is Persian)? How big should Persians be at one and a half months? I had multiple kittens, but it look as if they are very low to the ground. They are very healthy, active and eating soft food, I would like to send you pictures Susan.
