Hi Donna,

More than likely she is simply a mix of breeds. Your common house cat. However, she may have some Himalayan or Persian in her. Since you mention she is large, it's possible she may have a little Maine Coon in her too. Calico is a coat pattern and not really a breed and can show up in any type of cat. I guess you could call these mixed breeds "mutts" of the cat world. However, they are often the best cats you'll find. She sounds great.

My parents have a cat and I'm trying to find out what type she is. She is colored like and calico and is furry like a himalayan, very big and beautiful.

Hi, Kristyn. That's a lot of pets but I have a lot myself. Do you call "Calico" by a nickname? I've heard a lot of people call calicos "Callie".

i have a cat named calico she is a calico cat she is so very pretty matter of fact i have 6{six] cats in my house and 1 dog.
